Mercy Group

This group is as old as the church itself.
Aims And Objectives:
Established by the church authority to take care of the needy in the church. Helping the poor in the church who are members to care for their welfare in the area of clothing, hospital bills, house rents, foods, money for transportation etc.
Activities;
• Meet periodically to deliberate, review their activities and pray for themselves and the needy also.
• The Group visits hospitals, motherless babies' homes, widows, prisons, old people's homes to bring hop to the hopeless, prayer for the inmates, preach the word.
• Giving money, materials, clothing food items to these people and setting some members up in business. Plan for internal arrangement to meet the needs of members of the church.
• They also do community visitations and evangelism.
Finding:
This group is been founded by church members and individuals and some outsiders who saw noble in what the group is doing and wants to put smile in the face of the people.
